Why you should consider becoming an organ and tissue donor...

Because organ donation saves lives.

After someone passes away, their organs and tissue can be transplanted into another person who is in need of organs or tissue. To be considered a donor, permission is required from the individual (by enlisting on NYS donor registry) or by immediate family's permission. The need for organ donors has greatly increased over the years, every person that is added to the donor registry makes a difference.
